Yesterday after leaving Budapest and the amazing thermal spa, we arrived in the small wine producing town of Eger in the North East of Hungary. This will be our last stop before we head into Romania and have to officially complete the borders and customs. The EU has made borders so easy, so far.
We have spent yesterday and today in Eger, pottering around the truck, sorting stuff out, and now the sun has decided to come out we will soon venture off to some more wine caves where you can sample the delights they produce locally.
We are staying at the only campsite in town. Its a lovely family run site who also run a wine cave. Wine tasting is a mere 33p a glass. As normal it is full of Dutch who are famous for travelling everywhere, we are the only Brits here for a change.....
